Mrs. Joan Ringer, 46, of Rt. 2, Monticello, in Jefferson Township, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at 1:20 a.m. in George Ade Memorial Hospital, Brook, shortly after being admitted.
  Born January 16, 1925, at Camden, she was the daughter of Leonard and Thelma Bowman Yerkes.  She was graduated from Delphi High School.  On Sept. 28, 1946, she was married to Robert Ringer.
  Surviving with the husband are a son, James, a student at Purdue University; her mother, Mrs. Thelma Yerkes of Camden; and a sister, Mrs. Carol Briggs of Camden.
  She was a member of Monticello Presbyterian Church where funeral services were Wednesday afternoon.  Rev. Wallace McDonald officated and interment was in Camden Cemetery.
