Mildred Arlene Medley, 99, Monticello (Carroll County), passed away at 5 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at her home, with her family by her side.
She was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Wells, Minn., to the late Ross M. and Sylvia J. (Anderson) Weaver. She was married to Grover C. Medley Jr.; he passed away on Aug. 12, 2001.
Mildred was a member of the Delphi United Methodist Church.
She had worked at the old Monticello RCA Factory in the finishing room for 13 years.
Surviving are children Grover C. "Butch" (Jane) Medley III, LaPorte, Timothy R. "Tim" (Deane) Medley Sr., Lafayette, and Karen (Joe) McKinney, Kershaw, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Ross M. and Sylvia J. (Anderson) Weaver; and husband Grover C. Medley Jr.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello. Celebration of Life service will be 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor Tony Carson, of Christ Memorial Temple of Lafayette, officiating.
Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello.
