Services for Emma "Irene" Harrison, 83, of Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She died at 8:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in Logansport Memorial Hospital. Born July 23, 1921, in White County, she was the daughter of Cecil G. and Vernie Mae Young Stark. On Aug. 7, 1943, in Logansport, she was married to Frank Mason, who preceded in death on May 19, 1974. On May 17, 1975, in Logansport, she was married to Ralph Harrison, who preceded in death on June 12, 1990. Mrs. Harrison was a 1943 graduate of SL Elizabeth School of Nursing. She had been employed as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Logansport. Mrs. Harrison was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving are one grandson, Bryan Army, of Logansport; one brother, Kenneth Stark, of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters and four brothers preceded in death. Bishop Bill Tincher and Bishop Joseph Hintz will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Flora Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Monday in Fisher Funeral Chapel and one hour before services Tuesday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Society.
