Norma Jean Viney (Cauble) - Class Of 1939

Norma Jean Cauble, 71, of Chalmers, died at 7 p.m. Jan. 19, 1999, at her home. Born May 30, 1927, in Yeoman, she was the daughter of Fredrick and Donna Carson Viney. She was formerly married to Woodrow Cauble. He died in 1991. She attended Delphi High School and was a cook at the Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette, retiring in 1989. She was affiliated with Calvary Temple Church in Monticello. Surviving are one son, Howard Cauble of Monticello; five daughters, Nancy Norman of Monon, Diana Mull of Delphi, and Connie Cauble, Tammy Baumgardner and Vickie Ball, all of Yeoman; four brothers, Roger Viney and Lloyd Viney, both of Patton, Max Viney of Dayton and Harold Viney of Frankfort; three sisters, Phyllis Cadwallader and Lois Turner, both of Monticello, and Sherriel Weaver of Idaville; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother. Services were Sunday in Monticello with burial in Yeoman Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
