Betty J. Nulf Logan Johnson, 81, a former Delphi resident, died at 9:10 p.m. on April 18, 2003, at Mercy Hospital, Fairfield, Ohio, where she had been a patient for a few days. Born in Delphi on May 2, 1921, she was the daughter of Alfonzo and Blanche Plumb Nulf. She attended Delphi High School. She married Merle V. Johnson in 1973, in Attica, and he died on July 24, 1987. She was born and raised in Delphi, lived in Attica for 14 years and Lafayette for 10 years, and moved back to Delphi for five years before going to St. Mary’s Healthcare Center, Lafayette. Due to her health, she then moved to Okeana, Ohio, to live with her daughter. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Delphi. Her hobbies were playing bingo and flower gardening. Surviving are a son, Ron Logan of Delphi; a daughter, Joyce Weeks of Okeana, Ohio; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters arc deceased. Services were April 22, with burial at Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Abbott Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
