Esther Lohrman (Terrill) - Class Of 1939

Esther Bessie Terrill, 75, of Pyrmont, died at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 20, 1997, in Sycamore Village Health Care, Kokomo.  She had resided there since 1995.
  Born March 8, 1921, in Clay Township, she was the daughter of John and Lydia E. Gangwer Lohrman.  She was married on March 24, 1940, to Claude Smith, who died Dec. 22, 1953.  In November 1960 she married Grady E. Terrill, and he survives.
  A homemaker, Mrs. Terrill was a life-long resident of Clay Township.  She graduated from Delphi High School in 1939.
  She was a member of the Delphi Southern Baptist Church.
  Also surviving are one son, George Smith of Kokomo; one stepson, Gary E. Terrill of Lafayette; one stepdaughter, Loretta Ann Campbell of Romney; one brother, George Lohrman of Greentown; two sisters, Ruby Frey of Cutler and Laurie Rader of Marseilles, Ill.; one half sister, Evelyn Draper of Lafayette; six grandchildren; five step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.  A daughter and two grandsons preceded her in death.
  Services were Monday at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, with Laurel Lehr officiating.  Burial was in Rossville Cemetery.
