Elton Wells, 68, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; formerly of Delphi, died Feb. 28, 1990, in his home.
  He was born Aug. 8, 1921, in Larimore, N.D., and moved to Delphi as a young child.  He was an Army veteran of World War II.  He owned and operated a barber shop in Delphi for 25 years before retiring and moving to St. Petersburg in 1984.
  Surviving are his wife, Blanche; two sons, Robert A. Wells, Delphi and Jeffrey Wells, Lafayette; a daughter, Dixie Taylor, Pinellas Park, Fla.; three sisters, Nellie Snow, Richmond, Va., Sarah VanSickle, Delphi, and Meredith McLaughlin, Lafayette.
  Services were in St. Petersburg.
