Sharon S. Alberts, 64, of Delphi, passed away Oct. 7, 2007, at 1:50 a.m. in Home Hospital, Lafayette.

She was born Oct. 9, 1942, in Kokomo to William and Helen Miller Politz. She married Gary L. Alberts on May 30, 1959, in Cornace, Miss.

Mrs. Alberts was a homemaker. She enjoyed outdoor activities and especially the sunshine.

She attended Delphi schools and was member of Delphi VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodge and Delphi United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, a son, William "Rob" Alberts, and a daughter, Kim Isley (husband: Steve), all of Delphi; her mother in Flora; two sisters, Toni Politz of Flora and Debra Barowsky of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Art Politz of Jasonville, William Politz of Traverse City, Mich. and Robert Politz of Evansville; and three grandchildren, Kristen Alberts and Jonathan and Brittany Sales.

Mrs. Alberts was preceded in death by her father and a son, Gary "Tiger" Alberts.
