Marjorie E. Norris Rider, 74, formerly of Delphi, died June 12, 2005, in Appling, Ga. Born Dec. 3,1930, she was the daughter of Wayne and Helen Norris of Yeoman. Her marriage was to Russell “Bud” Rider in 1956, and he died in February of 2004. Mrs. Rider had been a bookkeeper at Whiteman Elevator in Delphi. Surviving is a sister, Joyce Sheets of San Pierre; a brother, Michael Norris of Yeoman; four stepchildren, Joyce Lantz of Long Beach, Calif., Meredith Crisp of Jacksonville, Fla., JoElla Manning (husband: Gary) of Green Cove Springs, Fla., and Byron Rider of Delphi; and several step-grandchildren.
