Ruth L. Beckner, 92, of Flora, died March 19, 2001, at Brethren Healthcare Center, Flora.  Born Oct. 25, 1908, in Cutler, she was the daughter of Roy F. and Mary Kirkpatrick Thompson.  She married Arthur Beckner on Oct. 8, 1932, in Cutler. 
  Mrs. Beckner was a 1927 graduate of Delphi High School and was nurses' aid at the Brethren Home for 18 years.  She was a member of Flora First Brethren Church.
  She is survived by a son, Robert Beckner, of Flora; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.  She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, a son, a daughter and a grandson.
  Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, at Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, with Rev. Alvin Grumbling and Pastor Scott Meadows officiating.  Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in Bringhurst.  Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
