Nada Holloway (Weckerly) - Class Of 1931

 Nada M. Holloway Weckerly, 88, of Delphi, died at 9:45 p.m. Sept 8, 2001, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.  She had been a patient there since Aug. 10.
  Born Aug. 16, 1913, in Jefferson Township, she was the daughter of Albert and Delilah Goslee Holloway.  She was a 1931 graduate of Delphi High School.
  Her marriage was to Glenn R. Weckerly in Crown Point on June 18, 1932.  He preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1975.
  She was the house mother for the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing for 15 years before retiring in the 1980s.
  Mrs. Weckerly was a member of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority.  The Elmwood Avenue Church of Christ in Lafayette, and the Senior Servants of the church.
  Surviving are one son, David Weckerly of Delphi; a daughter, Linda Jetton of Center Point, Texas: seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, six brothers, and one sister.
  Services were today (Wednesday) at Abbott Funeral Home with Minister Gayle Crowe officiating.  Burial was in Yeoman Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Elmwood Avenue Church of Christ food pantry.
