Danny Lamb - Class Of 1966

Danny Thomas Lamb, 72 passed way in his home in Leavenworth, KS on February 27, 2021 of natural causes.  He was being cared for by his surviving spouse, Evelyn Lamb and had family visiting at the time of his passing.  Danny was born in Lafayette, IN to George and Juanita Lamb, then went to school in Delphi, IN until his senior year where he graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School.  In 1968 he enlisted in the USAF and in 1988 he retired after 20 years and 2 months.  He then entered college and got a BA in Business Management.  He then went to work for the Post Office until retirement.  He is survived by one brother, Terry Lamb and wife Shelly from South Dakota, son Robert Lamb and Crystal with 6 children, daughter Billie Clevenger and Michael with 2 children, daughter Rebecca Maples and Sean with 3 sons all of Sweet Springs, MO, son Danny Thomas Lamb Jr. and Leah with 7 children of Belton, MO, daughter Wendy Clemans and Michael with 4 children including Ely Lee, daughter Dawn Puchacz and Arin with 3 children all of AZ and son Robert E III of CO.  There are 23 Great grandchildren.  Danny is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Carol Ann, a brother Freddy, his first wife Linda Balcom Lamb of 37 years, and 2 grandchildren, Chance Clevenger and Payton Marie Lamb.  Danny will have an interment service on March 19, 2020 at 11 AM where there will be the rendering of Military Honors for our Veterans.  Donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Danny.  Also, there is a second funeral at Sweet Springs MO Cemetery on March 20, 2021 at 10 AM.
