Donald Hoover - Class Of 1926

Donald L. Hoover, 67, of Peru, formerly of Delphi, died Friday at Dukes Hospital there.  His death followed an extended illness.
  Born May 12, 1908, in Pulaski County, he was the son of Henry and Sophia Weisenberger Hoover.  His marriage Nov. 5, 1940, was to Wilhemina Miller.  In 1926 he was graduated from Delphi High School.  He also was graduated from Lafayette Business College.  He was a member of Knights of Columbus.
  Surviving with the widow are six sons; three daughters; three brothers, Cletus and Frank, both of Wabash, and Arthur of Twelve Mile, five sisters, Mrs. Mildred McGreevy and Mrs. Dorothy Temple, both of Delphi; Mrs. Adeline Rider, Monticello, Ardella Whitmyer, Denver; and Lucile Sharp, Macy; and 20 grandchildren.
  Services were Tuesday morning at St. Charles Catholic Church in Peru where he was a member.  The Rev. Richard Puetz officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.
