Word has been received of the death of Dr. John K. Stewart, 66, of Clinton, Iowa, a Carroll County native He died last Thursday in Clinton. Born in Delphi March 3, 1909, he was the son of Kenner and Eva Stewart. A 1927 graduate of Delphi High School, he also graduated from Indiana University’s School of Medicine and served his internship at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He was married to Dr. Gertrude Strangle of Scottsburg. The couple opened and operated a clinic in Clinton Surviving with his wife are a son. Kenneth of Vancouver, Wash. two sisters, Mrs Eunice Stewart Ulm of Delphi and Mrs. Helen Ruth Stewart Bair of Largo Fla., and three grand children. Services were Monday in Clinton with burial there.
