Delphi Carroll County Comet February 9, 1994 Ruby F. Whiteman Roth, 82, died at 9:20 p.m. Feb. 6, 1994, at the Brethren Healthcare Center, Flora, where she and her husband had been residents the past two years. Born Aug. 5, 1911, in Madison Township, Carroll County, she had lived in Lafayette before entering the healthcare facility. She was a former member of Congress Street United Methodist Church in Lafayette. She and her husband, Meredith M. Roth, were married May 1, 1937, in Anderson. He is the only immediate survivor. She attended Lafayette Business College after graduating from Delphi High School.  During the early thirties, she served with her sister, Mildred, in the County Auditor's office while her father, J.L. Whiteman was Auditor.  She and her mother later made their home in Clay Township.
