Opal P. Wise, 78, formerly of Rt. 2, Delphi, died Monday, March 25, 1985 in the Frankfort Nursing Home where she had resided since 1979. She was born Nov. 16, 1906 in Clinton County, the daughter of William G. and Pearl Hawley. Her marriage was to Jesse E. Wise, a Carroll County farmer, on March 21, 1935 in Delphi. He preceded in death in 1971. She was a member of Delphi United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Rose Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Tipwa Grange, and the Deer Creek Township Extension Homemakers. Survivors include several cousins and many nieces and nephews. Services will be today (Wed.) at 2 p.m. at Horn Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Ashley officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.
