Word has been received by Roger Mayhill of the death of Lawrence Percy Leslie of Sacramento, Calif., former Delphi resident. Mr. Leslie was born near Delphi Sept. 28, 1906, and died August 7, 1979. He was the son of Walter and Mabel Schoonover Leslie and married Gertrude Jones, whose father had the Jones Bakery in Delphi for many years. He was a Delphi High School graduate. Most of his working years were in the painters trade in Chicago, Indianapolis, Miami, Selina, Kan., Bermuda and Houston. He and his wife had made their home in Houston, Tex., since 1960 until moving in July, 1978, to California. He is survived by his wife and one brother Harold of Houston. Burial was in California.
