Zella M. Stodgell, 77, of Rt. 3, Kokomo died at 10:35 a.m. Aug. 20, 1985, in Howard Community Hospital. Born Sept. 4, 1907, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of William- and Clara (Briney) Coppock. In November 1938, she married Leo Stodgell, who survives. She taught for six years at Burrows, then moved to the Kokomo area and taught 31 years in Miami County schools. She attended Zion United Methodist Church. Also surviving is a brother, William Coppock of Gary. Services were Friday in Amboy, with burial in Galveston Cemetery.
