William Harold Isaacs - Class Of 1926

Harold Isaacs died Nov. 7, 1984 in Monticello, IN. He married Ruth Christy of Monticello, In. in 1934. They moved to New Carlisle, IN and he worked for Bendix Corp for several years and Ruth worked for Sears, Roebuck in South Bend, IN and retired from there. Later he owned and operated his own business retiring after poor health began in 1964. Sadly missed are several nieces and nephews.

  Services were Friday in Monticello for William H. Isaacs, 76, Monticello, who died at 12:45 p.m. Nov. 7, 1984 in his home following an extended illness.  The Rev. Joe Shepherd officiated.  Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.
  Born in Carroll County, July 19, 1908, he attended Delphi Schools and Wabash College.  He was the son of Tolen and Effie Tribbett Isaacs.  His marriage was Nov. 21, 1934, in Crown Point to Ruth E. Christy who died Oct. 14, 1979.
  He retired from the chemical business in South Bend in 1963 and moved to Florida in 1975.  He had lived in Monticello since 1980.
  A member of Olive Chapel Church in New Carlisle, he was also a member of United Commercial Travelers in South Bend.
  Surviving re a brother, Basil Isaacs of Phoenix, Ariz.; and three sisters, Lola "Betty" Koning of Grand Haven, Mich., Naomi Martin of Delphi and Marjorie "Peggy" Baker of Lafayette.
