Funeral services for John H. (Buck) Bunnell, 68, of Monticello, were Saturday at Monticello with the Rev. Maurice Davis officiating. Burial was in the Delphi Masonic Cemetery. He died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 1977, at his residence. He had been in ill health three years. Born Feb. 20, 1909, in Jasper County, he was the son of Greer and Myrtle Scott Bunnell. He was married March 16, 1966, to Regina Johnson, who survives. A former Delphi resident, Bunnell was an auto mechanic. He was a member of the Delphi Christian Church and the American Legion and VFW at Oxford. He was a World War II veteran. Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Marlene Bilek of Virginia Beach, Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Ozard McCurtain of Bunker Hill, Mrs. Marie Mulligan of Monticello, Mrs. Violet Jeffers of Lafayette, and Mrs. Mary Mitch and Mrs. Ina Mitchell, both of Wolcott, and two grandchildren.
