Omer C. Strain, 76, Rt. 1, Colfax, died Wednesday, September 11, in the Home Hospital, Lafayette, IN.
  He was born December 12, 1908, in Tippecanoe County, to James and Ada (Daggy) Strain.  He was married to Kathryn B. Ulery in 1929 at Camden, and she survives.
  Strain was a retired farmer, and lived near Delphi prior to moving to Colfax in 1944.
  Surviving with his widow are a son, Rev. Robert F. Strain of Tampa, Fla., and a sister, Emma Jackson, Delphi; and two grandchildren.  Four brothers and one sister preceded in death.
  Services were Saturday at Colfax.  Burial was in Camden Cemetery.
