D. Alice Holtman, 81, of Lafayette, died May 30, 1991, in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. Born March 19, 1910, in Young America, she had lived in the Lafayette area since 1934, coming from Delphi. She was a 1928 graduate of Rossville High School. Her marriage was on April 1, 1934, in Lafayette, to Walter Edward Holtman, who survives. She and her husband had been resident of St. Anthony Health Care since Dec. 4. She was a member of Stidham United Methodist Church and Dayton Order of Eastern Star. Also surviving are a daughter, Nancy Cripe of Bowling Green, Ohio; a son, Carl Holtman of Romney; a sister, Agnes Cox of Eaton; a brother, R. Cleatus Zook of Rossville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were Saturday at her church, with burial in Grand View Cemetery.
