Foy J. Sherman, 71, of Santa Maria, Calif., died Thursday, December 18, 1980, at Marion Hospital, there. Born Sept. 12, 1909, in Carroll County, he was employed 22 years at Kain Motors in Logansport before moving to California. Surviving are the wife, Lois, a son, Stephen, and a daughter, Aleatha Zimmerman, both of Shawano, Wis., and four grandchildren. Services were today, Tuesday, at the Sheetz Funeral Home in Akron with burial in the Akron Cemetery.
