Glenn Fisher

Glenn Everett Fisher, 96, formerly of rural Delphi, passed away at Waterford Place in Kokomo on Dec. 16, 2006, at 4:10 a.m.
    Born Jan. 5, 1910, in Madison Township, he was the son of John H. and Lula Madalene Barnhart Fisher.  He married Mary Lucille Clawson on Feb. 19, 1939, at the Bringhurst Methodist parsonage.  She preceded him in death Dec. 25, 2001.
    Mr. Fisher was a retired farmer and salesman for Pioneer Seed Company.  He had been employed at A.S.C. Department of Agriculture.
    He attended Honer Grade School and Athenium Grade School in Madison Township before graduating from Delphi High School in 1928.
    Mr. Fisher was a member of Radnor United Methodist Church, where he was a former trustee and financial secretary.  He was a member of Farm Bureau and a former member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge in Delphi.
    Surviving are three daughters, Glenda S. Miller of Cape Coral, Fla., Virginia K. Berry (husband: Rex) of Kokomo and Debbie Clark: of Delphi; five grandchildren, Alan L. Berry (wife: Samantha) of Carmel, Michael Miller of Orlando, Fla., Christ Clark of West Lafayette, Karen Johnson of Canton, Ga., and Stacey Johnson of Lafayette; and nine great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and six sisters.
    Visitation will be Dec. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi.  Services will  be officiated by Pastor Ed Selvidge immediately following visitation.  Burial will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.
