Everett H. Young, 75, of Lafayette died Monday, October 14, 1985, in Westchester Nursing Home, St. Louis, MO.  He had been in failing health five years and a patient at the nursing home one month.
   Born in Carroll County, October 21, 1909, he had resided in Lafayette most of his life.  In 1939 he married V. Aileen Baer in Greencastle.  She died in 1973.  Mr. Young was a retired Alcoa employee.
   Surviving are one son, Richard, of Manchester, Mo.; two sisters, Gladys Woodrum of Rt. 1, Frankfort and Alma Garrison of Clearwater, Fla., and two grandchildren.
   Interment was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
