Marshall Wagoner - Class Of 1929

  Marshall E. Wagoner, 57, 539 S. Bluff St., Monticello, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday in White County Memorial Hospital where he was admitted Monday evening.
  Born July 11, 1910 in Carroll County, he was the son of Clint and Fannie Wagoner.  He was graduated from Delphi High School.  His marriage was to Katherine Bunnell in 1947.
  He served as a state trooper in counties including, White and Carroll.  He was a retired state polic officer of the Lafayette Post, with service of 25 years.  He was employed with the Flora Veterinary Service at Chalmers before recently being appointed as White County Probation Officer.
  Mr. Wagoner was a member of the Monticello Christian Church, American Legion and Masonic Lodge.  He was a veteran of World War II and served with the Army in the South Pacific.
  Surviving with the widow are a son, Thomas, at home; his father, Indianapolis; three sisters, Agnes and Helen Wagoner, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Josephine Witham of Mishawaka.
  Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Aufenberg and White Funeral Home in Monticello where friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Friday.  Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
