Ruth Larimore Bayar, 86, died April 28, 1998, in Englewood, Fla. Born Nov. 6, 1911, in Delphi, she was the daughter of Charles O. and Gretchen Irene Shockey Larimore. She graduated from Delphi High School in 1928 and married Stephen Bayar in 1949. He preceded her in death. She was an avid golfer and gardener. Survivors include six sisters, Edith Isaacs, Barbara Nelson, Betty Maxwell, and Evelyn Page, all of Delphi; Deloris Eberle of Englewood, Fla., and Joann Van Natta of Monticello; and a brother, Robert Larimore of Lafayette. Memorial services will be held in Delphi at a later date. Horn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
