Ralph Wagner - Class Of 1929

Ralph O. Wagner, 70, Rt. 4, Delphi, died Sun., March 23, 1980, at 8:55 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he was admitted March 14. He had been in ill health 12 years. Born February 19, 1910, in Buck Creek, he was the son of John and Jessie Suter Wagner. His marriage in Delphi on November 22, 1938, was to Hilda G. Fisher. He was a retired farmer and graduate of Delphi High School. He was a member of Delphi United Methodist Church, the I.O.O.F Lodge in Delphi and Sugar Creek Conservation Club. Surviving with the wife are two sons, Jerry W. Wagner, Delphi, and Thomas E. Wagner of Rt. 1, Delphi; one daughter, Mrs. Mick (Patricia) Merrell of Brownsburg; one brother, Robert Wagner, Lafayette; one sister, Mrs. Wilbur (Mildred) Graves of Shoals, and nine grandchildren. A brother, Loy Wagner, preceded him in death. Funeral services were this afternoon at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Ashley and Rev Ora Myers officiating. Interment was in Masonic Cemetery. Memorials were suggested to the American Lung Association.
