Blanch A. Wingard, 76, 813 E. Main St., Delphi, died September 10, 1986 in Home Hospital, Lafayette.  She had been a patient one day.
  She was born January 28, 1910 in Benton County, to Ira and Laura Peterson Griffith.  Her marriage was to Jarius E. Wingard on January 23, 1934, and he preceded in death in 1966. 
  Mrs. Wingard was a graduate of Delphi High School and attended the University of Illinois, and graduated from Indiana State University.  She was a member of Boswell Christian Church.  She was formerly a teacher and was a purchasing director of Stephen A. Young Corporation, Flora for over 30 years, retiring in 1982.
  Surviving is one son, Marion J. Wingard, of Columbus, Indiana.
  Also surviving are three grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.
  Services were held on Saturday in Horn Funeral Home, with Rev. Ellis Gasser officiating.  Burial was in IOOF Cemetery.
