Bessie P. Houser, 78, of route 2, Delphi, parted this life in her home at 10 a m. Monday. Death was unexpected but due to natural causes. Born Dec. 14, 1907, in Carroll County, she was a graduate of Adams Township and lifelong resident of Carroll County. She was married Aug. 10, 1929, in Delphi to Dale Houser, who died in 1965. Mrs. Houser was a member of Westside Flower Club. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Glen Smith of Route 2, Delphi. Mrs. Jack Shepard of West Lafayette and Mrs. David Isaacs of Delphi, six sons, Dale Houser Jr. Route 3, Delphi, Keith K. Houser of Route 2, Delphi, Richard D. Houser of route 4, Delphi, Danny Houser of Palm Bay, Fla., Clayton L. and John Houser, both of Delphi. Also surviving are a grandson, Tony Houser, who has lived in the home since he was a child and one sister, Edna Roth of Monticello. Friends may call 5-8 p m Wednesday. Delphi United Methodist Church parlor, across from Horn Funeral Home. Services were 1:30 p.m. Thursday, interment Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.
