Tom Thomas - Class Of 1921

  Dr. Thomas S. Thomas, 70, of Lafayette died in his home at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, following an illness of several months.
  A dentist in Lafayette for 41 years, he was born in Marion and reared in Delphi where he was graduated from Delphi High School in 1921.  He graduated from the Indiana Uniersity School of Dentistry in 1929.  His marriage in Indianapolis in 1946 was to Mary Mason of near Ockley.  His parents were Guy and Kit Ball Thomas.
  Dr. Thomas began his practice in Lafayette in 1929 and retired in June, 1970.  He was a captain during World War II, serving in the European Theater.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, American Legion Post II and Elks Lodge 143.  He was a life member of the Indiana Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
  Surviving with his wife are a sister, Miss Katherine Thomas of Lafayette, and a brother, Charles F. Thomas of Edina, Minn.
  Services were Tuesday at Lafayette.  Cremation will follow.
