Robert C. Anderson, 59, of Indianapolis, died at the Barton Nursing Home in Indianapolis at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
  He was born in Carroll County October 20, 1905, the son of Robert A. and Edith (Caldwell) Anderson.
  He was a reporter for the Indianapolis Star for several years and never married.  He was a graduate of Delphi High School and DePauw University, where he was a member of a Journalism honorary fraternity.
  Surviving are four brothers, George and Lloyd, both of Delphi; Dr. A. W. (DVM), Monticello, and Harry of Stillwater, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. John Hidman, Minneola, Kansas, and Mrs. Earl Ginn, North Muskegon, Michigan.
  Funeral rites are pending at the Jackson Funeral Home here.
