Mrs. Bessie Boyles Swaim, 71, of Rt. 4, Delphi, died Friday evening at her residence. Born April 23, 1904, at Battle Ground, she was the daughter of Charles and Fannie Watkins Boyles. She was married Sept. 23, 1923, to Frank Swaim, who died in 1966. She had resided in Tippecanoe and Carroll counties all of her life and was a member of the Delphi Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Hyman and Mrs. Marian Myers, both of Delphi; a sister, Mrs. Faye Richardson of Delphi;, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A brother preceded her in death. Services were Tuesday at the Jackson Funeral Home, Delphi, with the Rev. William Heinrich officiating. Burial was in the Delphi IOOF Cemetery.
