Charles Jester - Class Of 1922

Charles Jester, 28, died Sunday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Layman, near Logansport, after an illness of nearly five months from consumption. He lived practically all of his life in Delphi, but was taken to the home of his sister where he became ill. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Delphi Methodist church, the Rev. Benjamin Rist officiating. Interment was made in the Masonic cemetery. Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. John Layman, at whose home he died, Glen, Merle and Margaret Jester, of near Logansport. and Ralph Jester of Fort Wayne. The deceased was a nephew of Grover Kite, of this city.
