Raymond Penn - Class Of 1922

  Raymond L. Penn, 72, Rt. 3, Delphi, died Sunday, December 25, 1977, at 10:30 p.m. at Home Hospital.
  Born May 19, 1905, in Logansport, his parents were Brady O. and Emma Reeves Penn.  He married Hazel McCabe, June 11, 1925, at St. Joseph, Michigan.
  Mr. Penn was a retired farmer and retired from Logansport Machine Co., where he had worked 30 years.  He owned a gun shop at his residence.  He was Liberty Township trustee from 1958 to 1962 and was a member of the Burrows Presbyterian Church and National Rifle Association.
  Surviving with the wife are one daughter, Mrs. Robert Bruck of Rt. 4, Logansport; five sons, Raymond Eugene, Rt. 1, Star City, Carl, Rt. 2, Logansport, Bill, Rt. 4, Delphi, Phillip, Rt. 3, Delphi, Patrick, Arlington Heights, Ill.; 22 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  One daughter preceded him in death.
  Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today at McCloskey, Hamilton Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport, with Rev. Raymond Skelton officiating.  Burial was in Mt. Hope Centery, Logansport.
