Robert S. Hall, 88, formerly of Delphi and Lafayette, died at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 1993, in the Brethren's Home.
  Born in Delphi Sept. 25, 1904, he was the son of George and Mary Jane Smith Hall.  He was married Aug. 29, 1930, in Delphi, to Doris Garner, who died May 20, 1986.
  Hall was a 1923 graduate of Delphi High School.  He owned and operated Hall's Certified Foods which is now Wallman's Foods in Delphi from 1946 to 1967.  Upon retirement, he moved to Lafayette.
  He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Delphi, a 50 year member of Mt. Olive Masonic Lodge F & AM, Delphi, Scottish Rite, Indianapolis Valley, and Murat Temple in Indianapolis.
  Surviving are two daughters, Stacey H. Morrison-Gagnon of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and Cynthia H. Horswell of Lafayette; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.  A brother preceded him in death.
  Services were held Tuesday in Horn Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Pettys officiating.  Burial was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum, West Lafayette.
