Services for Florence B. Bieghler, 73, of Kokomo were Friday at Neptune Funeral Home in Burlington. Rev. Ralph Karstedt officiated and burial was in the Burlington Cemetery. She died of smoke inhalation in a fire in her home Wednesday morning, September 20, 1978, according to Charles Woolington, Howard County Coroner. Born April 2,1906, in Delphi, she was the daughter of William and Lilie Misner Harrison. Her marriage on Dec. 17, 1930, was to Charles A. Bieghler, who died Feb. 6, 1977. A resident of Burlington for 47 years, she moved to Kokomo one year ago. She was a retired telephone operator who had worked at Delphi and Burlington and was a member of the Burlington Methodist Church. Survivors are a son, Gary of Kokomo, and three sisters, Hilda Holmes of Delphi, Evelyn Landis, Tipton and Marjorie Plummer of Warsaw.
