Mildred Wilson (Kellenburger) - Class Of 1924

Mrs. Mildred Kellenburger, 55, of Monticello, sister of two Delphi men, died Sunday as a result of a two-car accident, at the junction of highways 39 and 14 in White county. Her husband was seriously injured. Mr. and Mrs. Kellenburger, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Melson of Monticello, were enroute north on highway 39 and were struck broadside by an east bound auto on highway 14 driven by Thomas Koebecke, 17, of Francesville. Mrs. Kellenberger died instantly. The Melsons and Mr. Kellenburger are patients in the White County hospital where Mr. Kellenberger remains in a serious condition. The Melsons were less seriously hurt. He is a brother of Charles Melson of Delphi. The deceased was born Feb. 20, 1906 in White county, the daughter of Joseph and Bertha Cullen Wilson. She was married to Mr. Kellenburger in 1935 and for the past 12 years had been deputy White County Auditor. Surviving are the husband; her parents, who reside in Monticello and two brothers, Harold and Homer Wilson of Delphi. Rites were held Wednesday afternoon in. Monticello with burial in Riverview cemetery.
