Mrs. George Simons of Rockfield received word of the death of her nephew, William Gardner, 60, of Columbus, Ohio, who died unexpectedly at his home.
  He had been employed for over 35 years with Minneapolis-Moline Co.  The son of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Walker Gardner, he was graduated from Delphi High School.
  Surviving are the widow, the former Opal Chamberlain of the Chalmers community; two sons, Gary of Streator, Ill., and Rex of Chilliclothe, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Don (Ann) Plank of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
  Funeral services and burial were Wednesday at Chilliclothe.
  Attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Simons and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Been of Rt. 3, Delphi.
