Mrs. Mary M. Sylvester, 51, this city, passed away at Memorial hospital Logansport, at 3:45 Saturday afternoon, following a two-week illness. Born in Delphi on Jan. 29,1903, to Mr. and Mrs. William Harrison, she married William Sylvester, who survives. Also surviving are her father. of Delphi; a son, Billy, of North Hollywood, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Martin, of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Beverly Rollins, of Logansport, and two grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Merrill Plummer and Mrs. Russell Holmes, of Delphi; Mrs. Loyal Landis, of Tipton; Mrs. Charles Beighler, of Burlington; Mrs. Thomas Adams, of Holton; two brothers, Ralph, of Mount Vernon, and William, of Warsaw. She was a member of the Flora Christian church. Final rites were held at the Letter Funeral Home Monday afternoon with Rev. Carl Reppert in charge. Burial was made in Maple Lawn cemetery.
