Leatha Hamil (Clawson) - Class Of 1924

  Letha B. Clawson, 92, of Yeoman, died at 10:45 a.m. April 14, 1998, at her residence.
  Born March 9, 1906, in Yeoman, she was the daughter of George W. and Ica M. Schock Hamil.  Her marriage was on Jan. 1, 1927, in Crown Point to Raymond Clawson, who died Dec. 22, 1995.
  She and her husband owned and operated the Midway Inn in Yeoman from 1937 until retiring in 1971.
  Mrs. Clawson attended Yeoman Schools and was a 1924 graduate of Delphi High School.
  She was a member of Yeoman United Methodist Church.
  Surviving are one son, Robert L. Clawson of Yeoman; two daughters, Ellen M. Holmes of Dayton, Ohio, and Carol E. Clawson of Yeoman, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  One sister is deceased.
  Private family services were held at Horn Funeral Home, with burial in Yeoman Cemetery.
  Memorials may be made to the Delphi Public Library.
