Services for Sylvia Ann Temple; 75, Rt. 1, Burnettsville, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lockport Church. She was dead on arrival at the Medical Center Hospital, Largo, Fla., at 8:40 p.m. Friday. She had been in ill health nine weeks. Born Aug. 20, 1906, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of John and Pearl Coble Galloway. On June 22, 1927, she was married to John L. Temple Sr., who survives. A member of the Lockport Church in Carroll County, she had lived on a farm in the Lockport community most of her life. She had spent several winters in Florida. Surviving with the husband are three sons, John L. Temple Jr., Indianapolis and Largo, Thomas G., Burnettsville, and Steven L., Logansport; a daughter, Carol Lou Wilson, Lafayette: nine grandchildren: and eight great-grandchildren. The Rev. Raymond Skelton will officiate at the services. Burial will be at Cedarville Cemetery, Carroll County. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, Monticello, and one hour prior to the services at the church Wednesday.
