Services for Mabel M. Flora, 83, of Flora, were Monday at Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, with the Rev. Don Taylor officiating. Burial was in Maple Lawn Cemetery. She died at 4:12 a.m. Friday, July 24, 1981, at Home Hospital, Lafayette. Born April 10, 1898, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Martin H. and Lucy Snider Boone. She was married on Aug. 9, 1917, to Carl Flora, who survives. She retired in 1963 after being employed 23 years by RBM Controls, Logansport. She was a member of the Grace Brethren Church, Flora, the Wednesday Afternoon Club and the Jackson Township Extension Homemakers Club. Surviving with the husband are one son, Jack Flora, Rt. 1, Cutler; one daughter, Frances Landrum, Fort Myers, Fla.; three sisters, Josephine Snowberger and Kathryn Goslee, Lafayette, and Nellie Allbaugh, Flora; one brother, Jerry Boone, Delphi; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. One sister preceded her in death.
