The brother of a well-known former Delphi fourth grade teacher, Genevieve Ryan, currently of Fort Wayne, died at the home of a son in Waco, Texas, Tuesday of last week.
  He was Robert Ryan who is survived by the son, Robert Jr.; the sister who formerly lived in Delphi and two grandchildren, Patrick and Kathryn.
  His wife, Lita, and a daughter, Rita Ann; preceded him in death.
  He was a Delphi native, served in the Navy during World War I and was retired from the Witco Chemical Co.  He had been ill 10 years.
  Funeral services were Friday morning in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Wayne.  The Rev. W. Michael Kettron officiated at graveside services in the afternoon at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Delphi.
