Mrs. Clara S. Smith, 75, was found dead at her home at the east edge of Delphi on Ind. 25 at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday by neighbors. Mrs. Smith was born in 1896 in Clinton County the daughter of Samuel and Pearl Dorsey Schenck She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was married to Orman M. Smith who died in 1928 as the result of an auto accident. Surviving are a son, Wilbur D. Smith of Brooklyn, N. Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Lulu Reed of Michigantown and Mrs. Maude Nasellroad of Speedway; two brothers, Dorsey Schenck of Indianapolis, and Harry Schenck of Mooresville and one grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Delphi with Rev. Fred Lanan officiating. Jackson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
