Margaret S. Maxwell, 91, formerly of Rt. 2, Delphi, died at 1:35 p.m. Nov. 6, 1991, at The Brethren's Home, Flora, where she had resided since 1984.
  Born July 2, 1900, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Manford and Laura Berkshire Gilliam.  Her marriage was on Jan. 26, 1921, in Delphi, to Lee E. Maxwell, who died Aug. 6, 1981.
  She was a 1918 graduate of Delphi High School.
  She was a former member of the Hickory Grove United Methodist Church and attended the Delphi United Methodist Church.
  She was a member of Psi Iota Xi Associate Chapter, Tippecanoe Township Home Demonstration Club, and World War II Mothers Club.
  Surviving are one son, Robert M. Maxwell of Delphi, three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, one son, one grandson, and one great-grandson.
  Services were Saturday at Horn Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Pettys officiating.  Burial was in Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
