Roger Hanna - Class Of 1918

  Dr. Roger J. Hanna, 81, Mason, Mich., died Monday, June 21, 1982.  Born July 14, 1900, in Delphi, his parents were John and Elizabeth Whistler Hanna.
  Dr. Hanna is the brother of the late Ralph Hanna and Robert Hanna, Delphi attorneys.  A graduate of Delphi High School, he was a former director of Jackson County Tuberculosis Sanitarium and all tuberculosis hospitals in Texas, and was former Lenawee County Health Director in Michigan.  He retired in 1967 from the State of Michigan OASI, disability determination division.  He attended Indiana University in Indianapolis and a college in Louisiana and became a Lt. Colonel in the service.
  Surviving with the wife, the former Ruth Siebert, are three sons, Allan of Moorehead, Minn., Roger, Ferndale, Mich., and Richard, Big Rapids, Mich.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  His first wife, Frances, died in 1962.
  Services will be Thursday at 11:30 p.m. at Ball-Dunn Chapel at Gorsline-Runciman Company, Mason, Mich.  Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lansing, Mich.
