Mrs. Mary (Loy) Spring, 34, wife of Homer Spring, residing near Battle Ground, died at 2 o'clock Thursday morning at the Home hospital, Lafayette, from scarlet fever. Mrs. Spring was born in Delphi, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Loy, and was graduated from the Delphi high school. Three weeks ago the Spring family moved from Delphi to a farm near Battle Ground. Surviving are the husband; two children, Billy and Betty; her mother; two sisters, Mrs. Troy Quinn and Lujean Loy, and a brother, Joe Loy, of Delphi. The body was brought to the Blythe & Sons funeral home here. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from the Blythe funeral home. Rev. W. V. Day officiating. Burial was made in Zion cemetery.
