Word has been received of the death of Vlon Morris, a former Delphi resident, last December 9, 1976, at his home in Maitland, Fla. A 1918 graduate of Delphi High School, he then moved with his parents to West Lafayette where he graduated from Purdue in 1922. After receiving a Ph. D. in chemistry from the University of Minnesota he was for many years with the Johnson and Johnson firm in the East. He continued to write for chemical journals after he was paralized in a 1954 autonlobile accident. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
