Glenn Calvert

  Glenn Calvert, 66, of Rt. 4, Delphi, passed away at the residence Christmas Day morning at 3 o'clock after being ill more than six months.
  Born February 28, 1902 at Colburn, he was the son of Byron and Nora Roadruck Calvert.  His marriage August 6, 1927 to Mary Hazlett.  He was a life resident of the community and a life member of the Moose Lodge at Monticello.
  He was a building contractor.
  Surviving with the widow are his mother, Mrs. Nora Shortridge of Delphi; four sons, Donald of Clovis, New Mexico, Glenn R. of Indianapolis, Charles of Frankfort and William of Forest; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Dempsey of Terre Haute; a brother, Paul of Fort Wayne, and 12 grandchildren.
  Funeral services were Friday afternoon at Jackson Funeral home.  The Rev. David Abel officiated and burial was in the Masonic Cemetery.
